This morning we took the Metro to Montmartre, where there is a very old church on top of the highest point (on land) in Paris. The view was nice and romantic. We hiked back to our part of town and went to the top of a department store which also had panoramic views. Then, this evening, we took the Metro to the Eiffel Tower, where we waited in line, saw some views, and then waited in line some more to get to the tip top and saw some the same views, but higher (1056 ft!). Pretty nice.
